I was very close to going to Hollywood yesterday for the Red Carpet action....BUT Patrick was preaching last night so I opted to go support that whole thing. Besides, I highly doubt I would have been able to get close enough to see much. So after DVRing it and watching it hours after my east coast friends, I have a few thoughts and points of conversation.
1. I heart Steve Martin. He and Alec Baldwin did a great job hosting. They cracked me up all night.
2. I was cheering for Sandra Bullock the entire night. I loved her little gang symbols on the red carpet and her dress was beautiful. Her speech was heart warming and I love that her sweet husband was tearing up with her. PLUS, she looked very classy in her dress, don't you think?
3. I thought it was fantastic when George Clooney opted to run along a fence full of fans to shake hands and sign autographs.
4. Who was the crazy lady that ran on the stage when dude was giving his speech?
5. My favorite dress of the evening.....
Miley really needs to stand up straight, but I L.O.V.E. her dress. Miley actually had an awesome dress last year too. I think I actually like last year's dress better, but it's a win/win either way.

I didn't watch...but I did watch all the fashion highlights! I do have to agree...I was actually really surprised @ how great Cameron Diaz looked too! So beautiful!
I agree with everything wholeheartedly, especially loving Steve martin. I have a slight comedian crush I think.
But, did you think George Clooney looked like he was ticked off a lot of the night?
Christie,
I was actually going to write about that, but totally forgot. I couldn't figure out if he was serious or just kidding. I want to lean toward kidding, but that is only because I like him so much and want to pretend he never gets mad.
Christina,
Yes, Cameron was great....as usual. I thought it was funny that she said "Jude" because they never fixed the teleprompter.
Yea it was a bummer to see him like that, I love him too. We can believe the best, but it was not funny if it was a joke, that's for sure.
