I know I have been MIA for the last week or so, but things have been busy in the Mitchell house. With Duke making it all the way in the NCAA tourney, having guests in town, and starting a new workout, I haven't had much time to blog. There is much to say about Duke's amazing victory last night and our time with Justin and Katie but this post is going to focus on the new workout I've been doing.....The Brazilian Butt Lift. That's right...butt lift. We all gain our weight in different areas. Everything I eat goes straight to my thighs and bum bum (the brazilian word for "butt"), so I figured I should try it. Let me say....it is awesome. It is a 4 week workout and you have the option of doing one extra week at the beginning with an intensive 6 day eating plan, which sucks in the best of ways. I am just starting my 3rd week and haven't missed a day. I do have to warn you that the girls in the video drive me crazy. They are over the top and a tad annoying. What annoys me the most? Besides their perfect bodies, belly button rings and crazy dance moves? They are legitimately fit. Ugg. Regardless, I love the workout because it is fun, painful and I can already see my legs smoothing out. I love seeing results, but I will definitely need to do this for more than 4 weeks to get my butt in gear...literally. Next workout on the list? The 60 day Insanity workout.

go you! i desperately need to commit to SOME form of exercise! so, i'm very impressed by anyone who actually is able to follow through! good job!
